Home sweet home!! Back to Taipei earlier this afternoon. It was a real fun trip - concert with Michael Philip Mossman, Martina Su, and Taiwan All Stars - Rich Huang, Stacey Wei, Kunter Chang, Tony Dong, Yohei Yamada & Alex Wu at Hualien County Performing Arts Center (花蓮縣文化局演藝廳). After the concert followed a three-day winter jazz camp. It's real fun to teach some very enthusiastic, young jazz lovers - it brought me back in the time when I was first learning jazz. I revisited the joy I had (when I learned new harmonies and discovered new killing albums) from their happy faces. Thank you all dear students, and thank you Stacey for putting up all this together!
For now, good night Taipei. It's gonna be a busy February. In the following days I'll be playing with Stacey, along with some members from Taiwan All Stars in Kaohsiung (高雄) and Tainan (台南). I'll also be playing duo in Chiayi (嘉義) (at Oasis Coffee & Tea!) on 2/11 with guitarist YingDa Chen 陳穎達.

And don't forget it's Chinese New Year this weekend!!!! Time for New Year's Resolution again :p
